One of the lessons I've learned is that the people who don't applaud or support us aren't jealous of us-they are just empty vessels. They need more to feel confident and secure than we do. That is simply why they don't or rather can't give us the 'atta girl, atta boy!' pat on the back, nod of approval. Have you ever shared a triumph with someone in your life only to get a less than enthusiastic response? How about sending a family member the original and only copy of your award winning essay only to find out they threw it in the garbage. Yes, sadly my friends that's what happened to me. That incident occurred when I was very young and too naive to realize ahead of time that it could happen. However, I quickly realized the wisdom I am about to share with you: Don't cast your pearls before swine. Yes this comes from the bible and although I don't have the chapter and verse, I do understand the meaning. The point here is that whether or not we think others should be in our corner, the reality is they aren't always because they can't bear to not be number one. It really is more about their lack than it is about you. Therefore, cease and desist when it comes to relying on them for kudos and congratulatory remarks. Know in your heart that you've done well and need not seek their glory or approval. Most importantly, avoid asking them for encouragement when you need the go ahead push because they will only discourage and sabotage your efforts. You will end up wasting time in anger, disappointment, and disillusionment. Time that could be spent making progress on your dreams. ***Ask and offer gratitude to the Archangels for sustaining your endeavors and you will quickly be engulfed with the love, and support that will help you manifest your desires. Be open to receiving this guidance and willing to accept that it will come from a source other than the one you wanted it to come from. Ask that you have the wisdom to recognize it when it appears and offer thanks in advance for this as well.
